Many commercial properties need to be prepared for winter by performing maintenance tasks such as relocating perennials and removing leaves. If you are looking for ways to keep your commercial landscaping healthy in the winter months, we recommend that you follow these steps: Relocate Perennials Remove perennials that are not winter hardy. Remove perennials that are not in full bloom. Remove diseased or damaged plants, as well as those out of place in the garden, such as those growing too close to walkways or other plantings. Consider removing any perennials that are too big for their location; they may need to be divided every few years, so they do not overwhelm the space around them.
